This is Bob from Bob Island Tours! Thank you for choosing Bob Island Tours for your island adventure!
We start at the cruise terminal, located on the Dutch Side of the island, and the tour lasts approximately 3-4 hours.
We begin the adventure at the famous Sunset Beach Bar, where you see the planes taking off and landing at at the SXM Airport. Trust me, you can't and wouldn't want to get any closer to a flying plane as you do here-it's truly magnificent to see! We continue on to Marigot, where you can enjoy duty free shopping at the local markets
and enjoy meeting the local vendors. Here, you may also want to satisfy your hunger at one of the delicious local restaurants (we recommend Lolou Place!) We continue onto the countryside, where there is plenty
of beautiful scenery to take in, and to photograph.
There are 2 forts at the top of the hill in Marigot, where we will stop for a few minutes to take in the breathtaking views of the island. We continue onto Grand Case, if you did too much shopping in Marigot and forgot to eat, here you can dine at one of the severa
local restaurants (LoLou's Place is here as well and highly recommended!) as well, or enjoy a cocktail and take in the scenery! We continue our journey to Orient Beach, where there are several beach activities for all personalities. For those of you who do not like tan lines, there is a beach area for you as well!
After some relaxation
on the beach, we head back towards Philipsburg, where you will find duty free shopping for liquor, jewelery, cuban cigars, etc. There are beautiful beaches as well as a boardwalk , where you can spend time with your friends and family. There is plenty to do here; casinos, bars, restaurants, clubs, shopping, etc. When you are ready to go
to back to the cruise terminal, you can take a regular taxi, or for the adventurer a water taxi. You may also walk the beach or boardwalk back to the cruise terminal, it's a beautiful 20 minute walk!! We also offer ATV and Scooter Rentals for those of you who want to make the journey around the island yourslef, please inquire when calling!
One suggestion I have is to do your shopping after the tours in the late afternoon before departing. You can usually get better deals and negotiate better prices at the end of the day.
